Dolby Atmos Certification Course

EngineEars has teamed up with Dolby Labs, to create an official Dolby Atmos Certification course that consists of 50 hours of self-training, provided by the EngineEars School of Music, followed by one full day of In-Person training at one of today’s top premier Dolby Atmos Enabled Studios applying the learnings from the Self-training, in real time with instructors present to answer any questions.

Course Overview

With a curriculum developed in part with The Dolby Institute. The EngineEars Dolby Atmos Certification course is a 50+ hour rigorous crash course to prepare an engineer for the sound of tomorrow!

Blended between 38 hours of individual self-training segments through blackboard
8 Hours of in-person training in an actual Dolby Atmos Enabled Studio sponsored by EngineEars.
Between 25 modules, spread across a total of 5 parts

After completing two mixing or mastering projects on the platform, you are eligible for verification by the internal review team.
Your projects will be assessed by our team and determine if your profile will become verified based on specific criteria.
(This ensures you can mix in stereo before mixing in Dolby Atmos)
