The Sound of Tomorrow represents a first-of-its-kind experience developed for Recording Artists from all over the world to have the opportunity to showcase their talents and perform LIVE at Rocking the Daisies Music Festival in South Africa!
When you have at-least one song that meets the competitions requirements, and is ready for Mixing and Mastering services, search and book your engineer(s) using the provided discount code that you received in your Registration Confirmation email.
The Discount code is used to give you 20% off your bookings (with participating engineers) and to confirm your submission. All Service Providers Rates Apply.
You will have between the dates of July 17th through September 1st to submit at least one record using your provided discount code for a combined Mix and Master.
On Monday, September 4th we will upload all qualifying song submissions to a public webpage where you will be prompted to have your Fans, Friends, and Family VOTE for you to enter the next phase.
Voting will take place between September 4th through September 8th.The Artists that have met all submission requirements, along with the Top 50 votes will be announced and will enter the next round.
On Monday, September 11th, The 50 selected artists will be announced, as well as sent an instrumental to Write, Record, Perform, and post a ‘duet’ on TikTok, and shared on Instagram, Tagging #EngineEars, #RockingTheDaisies and #TheFiends on both platforms.
You have between September 11th and September 15th to post your ‘duet’. The Artist of the song used in this round will personally listen to and choose their TOP 5 of the 50 submissions to move into the final round.
On Monday, September 18th, the TOP 5 Finalists will be announced with Instructions for the Final Voting Live Stream that will take place on Friday, September 22nd.
A panel of Three Industry A&R’s between USA and South Africa will join a Live Video Stream, and listen to all of the participants' submitted songs, as well as the ‘duet’ to determine which TWO artists will win the competition and receive an All Expense Paid Trip To Perform In South Africa on October 6th and October 8th, 2023!
